This event tracks the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's H200 graphics processing unit for computational tasks during the week of June 22-26, 2026. Resolution occurs on June 26, 2026 at 4 PM ET based on pricing data from Ornn's compute pricing dashboard.
Resolution is determined by the NVIDIA H200 compute per-hour pricing as reported by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) on June 26, 2026 at 4 PM ET. The event contains multiple price thresholds ($2.50, $3.00, $3.50, $4.00, $4.50, $5.00, $5.50, and $6.50 per hour), each resolving independently to Yes if the reported price exceeds that threshold. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used for resolution. All values are denominated in USD, rounded to two decimal places, and reflect the pricing as of the resolution timestamp. Revisions to underlying pricing data made after the market expiration time will not be considered.
Prediction markets like this one often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-money bets from traders with direct exposure to the outcome. While equity analysts and tech research firms may publish price targets or cost estimates based on supply-chain models and historical trends, this market reflects live consensus from participants who profit or lose based on accuracy. Analysts typically update forecasts quarterly or on earnings calls; prediction markets adjust continuously. The two sources can validate each other when aligned, but divergence often signals that traders have spotted information or trends analysts have missed or underweighted.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers post bids and offers for contracts tied to specific H200 compute price outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders profit by correctly predicting where the price will land by the end of week 26, and the market price reflects the collective belief of all participants. As new information emerges—whether from NVIDIA announcements, supply updates, or competitive moves—traders adjust their positions, shifting the odds in real time. The tighter the bid-ask spread, the more confident and liquid the market consensus; wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower participation.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, at which point the final H200 compute price will be verified and compared against the contract terms. The outcome is determined by checking credible public sources to confirm where NVIDIA's pricing actually landed during that period. Once the event is verifiable from established reporting, the market settles and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning contracts. Traders should monitor official NVIDIA communications and industry publications in the weeks leading up to resolution to track any price adjustments or announcements that could affect the final outcome.
Several catalysts could shift pricing in this market. Official NVIDIA announcements regarding H200 availability, production volumes, or cost changes would have immediate impact. Competitor product launches or pricing moves could pressure NVIDIA's positioning and margins. Supply-chain disruptions or semiconductor industry news affecting chip costs could ripple through hardware pricing. Earnings calls or investor presentations where NVIDIA discusses pricing strategy or demand would likely trigger trading activity. Macroeconomic shifts affecting enterprise spending on AI infrastructure could also influence perceived value and willingness to pay. Watching tech news, NVIDIA's official channels, and industry analyst commentary will help you stay ahead of market-moving developments.
