This market will resolve according to Visa's cross border volume total growth (constant dollars) (year-over-year) for the upcoming third fiscal quarter, as reported in its official company earnings materials. The specified metric will be considered as reported in the company's official earnings materials. Subsequent revisions will not be considered. If the specified company's official earnings materials for the specified quarter are released, and the specified metric is not included, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. If the specified company does not release quarterly earnings materials for the specified quarter by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the specified metric is reported as a range rather than a specific number, the midpoint of the range will be used for resolution of this market. The resolution source for this market is the specified company's official earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings. If the specified metric is not reported in these materials, recordings or transcripts of the company's earnings webcast may also be used. Note: This market will resolve based on the most numerically precise version of the specified metric reported in the company's official earnings materials. Only the specified metric will be considered; alternate versions that differ in definition or scope from the specified metric will not be considered.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst consensus because traders incorporate real-time information, forward guidance, and macroeconomic signals that may not yet be reflected in published research. While sell-side analysts typically issue quarterly forecasts based on historical trends and company guidance, this market allows participants to continuously update their views as earnings reports, cross-border payment trends, and currency movements unfold. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus economist or equity-research estimates can reveal whether the market is pricing in faster or slower growth than the Street expects, highlighting potential surprises ahead of the official announcement.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader bets into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing different growth outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the collective likelihood assigned by the market. As new information arrives—earnings beats, guidance revisions, or macroeconomic shifts—traders adjust positions, moving the odds. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity and conviction; tighter spreads suggest high confidence in the current odds, while wider spreads may signal uncertainty or lower participation.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once Visa's official Q3 financial results and cross-border volume data become publicly available. The outcome is confirmed when the verified growth figure in constant dollars is compared against the threshold specified in the market. Resolution relies on credible public reporting from Visa's earnings announcement and investor disclosures, ensuring all traders access the same authoritative data. Early resolution is possible if Visa releases preliminary or revised figures before the end date, but the final settlement will reflect the company's audited or officially restated cross-border volume metric.
Key catalysts include Visa's quarterly earnings call, where management typically provides cross-border volume trends and forward guidance; macroeconomic reports on international trade and currency movements, which directly affect cross-border payment flows; and competitor announcements or industry data releases that reshape expectations for payment volumes. Geopolitical developments, travel trends, and changes in e-commerce penetration in major markets can also shift trader sentiment. Additionally, any material restatement or revision of prior-quarter cross-border figures could prompt repricing, as traders reassess the baseline and growth trajectory heading into the resolution date.
