This set of markets tracks whether the USD to Norwegian Krone exchange rate will exceed various thresholds at a specific moment. Each market has a different threshold level, allowing participants to speculate on the precise strength of the USD against the NOK at that time.
All markets resolve based on the USDNOK exchange rate's opening candlestick value at 5pm ET on September 4, 2026, as published by Pyth. Each market has a unique threshold: if the rate is above its specified level (ranging from 9.327 to 9.365), the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Data is rounded to four decimal places. If Pyth does not publish data at the exact time, the most recent available value is used. Post-expiration revisions to the exchange rate do not affect the resolution.
Compared to traditional analyst forecasts, prediction market odds for this market often reflect a more immediate, crowd-sourced view of expectations. While analysts may incorporate macro models and long-term trends, traders act on shorter-term signals and sentiment, which can lead to divergence or alignment depending on recent economic data and market mood.
This market resolves around Sep 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final price will be checked against reliable financial data sources at the specified time to determine whether the conditions are met.
Several signals could influence this market before Sep 4, 2026. Key economic indicators from either country, such as interest rate decisions or GDP releases, often shift currency values. Political developments, trade data, and global market sentiment also play major roles. Natural disasters or geopolitical tensions may create short-term volatility. Traders will watch these events closely, as each development can change expectations for the USDNOK exchange rate and therefore impact pricing in this market.
