This set of markets tracks the performance of the USDJPY currency pair at a specific future date and time. Each market will resolve based on whether the exchange rate exceeds a particular threshold, providing a way to assess potential currency movements.
All markets resolve based on the USDJPY exchange rate's opening candlestick value at 5:00 PM EDT on August 7, 2026, as published by Pyth. Each market has a unique threshold; if the rate is above the specified level at that time, the market resolves to Yes, otherwise to No. Data is rounded to four decimal places. If Pyth does not publish data at the exact time, the most recent available value is used. Post-expiration revisions to the underlying data do not affect the resolution.
This market resolves around Aug 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final USDJPY price at the exact time specified will be the decisive factor, closing all positions based on that snapshot.
Key signals that could shift this market include major economic data releases from Japan or the U.S., central bank policy announcements, geopolitical developments impacting currency flows, and shifts in global risk sentiment. Each of these can cause rapid re-pricing as traders adjust positions in anticipation of how the USDJPY rate will respond.
