This market will resolve according to United Airlines' consolidated passenger load factor, for the upcoming second fiscal quarter, as reported in its official company earnings materials. The specified metric will be considered as reported in the company's official earnings materials. Subsequent revisions will not be considered. If the specified company's official earnings materials for the specified quarter are released, and the specified metric is not included, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. If the specified company does not release quarterly earnings materials for the specified quarter by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the specified metric is reported as a range rather than a specific number, the midpoint of the range will be used for resolution of this market. The resolution source for this market is United Airlines' official company earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings. If the specified metric is not reported in these materials, recordings or transcripts of the company's earnings webcast may also be used. Note: This market will resolve based on the most numerically precise version of the specified metric reported in the company's official earnings materials. Only the specified metric will be considered; alternate versions that differ in definition or scope from the specified metric will not be considered.

Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional airline analyst forecasts because traders incorporate real-time operational data, fuel costs, and demand signals that may not be fully reflected in published equity research. While sell-side analysts typically update load factor expectations quarterly or during earnings calls, prediction markets allow continuous repricing as new information emerges. Comparing the current market consensus to recent airline industry reports and management guidance can reveal where traders expect UAL's Q2 performance to exceed or underperform published expectations.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, once United Airlines publicly reports its Q2 consolidated passenger load factor. The outcome is determined by the official metric disclosed in UAL's quarterly earnings report or investor relations materials. Traders should monitor United's earnings announcement and SEC filings for the verified figure. Resolution occurs when the reported load factor is confirmed and matched to the corresponding outcome bracket in the market.
Several catalysts could shift odds in this market: changes in fuel prices affecting airline profitability and pricing power, macroeconomic data influencing travel demand, competitor capacity announcements, labor negotiations or strikes, weather disruptions, and management commentary on booking trends. Seasonal travel patterns, corporate travel recovery, and leisure demand fluctuations throughout Q2 will also influence realized load factors. Additionally, any guidance revisions or preliminary traffic reports United releases before the formal earnings announcement could trigger repricing as traders adjust their expectations for the final Q2 metric.
