This event tracks Donald Trump's social media activity on Truth Social during a specific week in June 2026. Traders predict which range his posting volume will fall into, with outcomes spanning from fewer than 80 posts up to more than 220 posts.
The event measures the total number of Truth Social posts by Donald Trump from 12:00 AM ET on June 14, 2026 through 11:59 PM ET on June 20, 2026. The count includes original Truths, ReTruths, and Quote Truths as captured by Roll Call, with replies included only if captured by that source. Posts deleted by the Expiration Time are excluded from the count. The post count will be recorded at 10:00 AM ET on June 21, 2026. Roll Call serves as the primary resolution source; if Roll Call data is unavailable or inaccurate, Kalshi may use alternative sources at its discretion. Each outcome corresponds to a specific range of posts: below 80, 80-99, 100-119, 120-139, 140-159, 160-179, 180-199, 200-220, or above 220. All range boundaries are inclusive.
Prediction markets and polls measure different things: polls capture stated preferences at a single moment, while this market aggregates real-money bets from traders who profit or lose based on the actual outcome. Traders often incorporate polling data, expert analysis, and breaking news into their positions, which can cause market odds to diverge from poll snapshots. Over time, prediction markets have shown strong accuracy on event-based questions because participants face direct financial incentives to forecast correctly, whereas polls reflect opinion rather than outcome probability.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers post bids and asks for shares tied to each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current market price reflects the last executed trade and the spread between the highest bid and lowest ask. As new information emerges or trader sentiment shifts, the price adjusts in real time. Shares are typically priced between 0 and 100 cents, with the final payout determined by the outcome on the settlement date.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether the specified number of Truth Social posts occurred during the designated week. Traders who backed the correct outcome receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. Until that date, the market remains open for trading and price discovery.
Several catalysts could shift odds in this market. Major political announcements or controversies involving the former president may prompt increased social media activity. Changes in Truth Social's platform features or user engagement trends could influence posting behavior. News cycles, campaign developments, or legal proceedings might also affect posting frequency. Additionally, real-time post counts published by media outlets or data trackers during the week could cause sharp repricing as traders update their expectations based on observed activity.
