This market tracks whether Donald Trump posts to Truth Social during late-night and early-morning hours in the Eastern Time zone during the week of June 21-27, 2026. The market resolves Yes if any posts appear during the specified overnight windows.
The market resolves to Yes if at least one Truth Social post from Trump appears during any of the five consecutive one-hour windows between 1:00 AM and 5:59 AM ET on any day from June 21 through June 27, 2026, inclusive. Each hour interval spans from the top of the hour through 59 minutes and 59 seconds (e.g., 1:00:00 AM through 1:59:59 AM). Posts that are subsequently deleted still count toward resolution. The market resolves Yes if the condition is met in any single hour window across any day within the specified week; a Yes resolution requires only one qualifying post in one of the five time periods on one of the seven days.
Prediction markets and traditional polling measure different things: polls capture stated preferences at a single moment, while markets aggregate real-money bets on actual outcomes. This market prices the probability of a discrete event—a late-night post within a specific timeframe—rather than measuring public opinion. Traders who believe the event is more likely than current odds suggest will buy shares, pushing prices up; skeptics sell, driving them down. Over time, markets often reflect information faster than polls because participants have direct financial incentive to forecast accurately.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share pays out $1 if the event occurs and $0 if it does not, so the current price directly reflects the market's probability estimate. Traders can enter limit or market orders, and the spread between bid and ask prices tightens as liquidity increases, making execution more efficient for both buyers and sellers.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, after the week in question has concluded. The outcome is determined by whether a late-night post from the relevant account occurs during the specified period, verified against credible public sources. Once the event window closes and the occurrence or non-occurrence can be confirmed, the market settles automatically, paying out winning shares at $1 and expiring losing shares at $0.
Several factors could shift odds in this market: public statements or announcements from the former president, changes in his social media activity patterns, or breaking news that alters expectations about his behavior during the week. Media coverage discussing his recent posting habits, platform policy changes, or unexpected political developments could also influence trader sentiment. As the resolution date approaches and the week progresses, real-time observation of actual posting activity will likely drive the most significant price movements, with traders adjusting positions based on whether a post has already occurred.
