This market tracks whether Donald Trump posts to Truth Social during late-night and early-morning hours (1 AM to 6 AM ET) during the week of June 14-20, 2026. A single post during any of these time windows on any day in that week resolves the market to Yes.
The market resolves to Yes if at least one Trump Truth Social post is made during any hour between 1:00 AM and 5:59 AM ET on any day from June 14 through June 20, 2026, inclusive. The resolution period is divided into five consecutive one-hour windows: 1:00-1:59 AM, 2:00-2:59 AM, 3:00-3:59 AM, 4:00-4:59 AM, and 5:00-5:59 AM ET. Each hour interval is inclusive of all seconds within that range (e.g., 1:00:00 AM through 1:59:59 AM). Posts that are subsequently deleted still count toward resolution. The market resolves to Yes if any single post appears in any of these windows on any day during the specified week; otherwise it resolves to No.
Prediction market odds and polling averages serve different purposes. Polls measure stated public opinion on a snapshot basis, while this market aggregates real-money bets from traders who profit only if their forecast proves correct. Markets often diverge from polls because traders incorporate breaking news, historical patterns, and incentive structures that casual survey respondents may not reflect. For social media activity predictions, market prices tend to embed more recent behavioral data and real-time information flow than traditional polling can capture.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers submit bids and offers in real time. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a YES contract reflects the market's implied probability that a late-night post will occur within the week. As new information surfaces—such as news cycles or public statements—traders adjust their positions, causing the contract price to move. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity and trader confidence in the current valuation.
This market resolves around Jun 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether a late-night social media post matching the event criteria appears during the specified week. Traders should monitor official social media accounts and reputable news sources as the deadline approaches. Once the resolution window closes, the outcome is finalized and contracts are settled accordingly.
Several factors could shift odds in this market. Major news developments, political announcements, or public controversies often trigger increased social media activity from prominent figures. Changes in platform policies or account status could also influence expectations. Additionally, historical posting patterns and time-of-week trends may prompt traders to adjust positions as the deadline nears. Market momentum itself—driven by large trades or shifts in trader sentiment—can create price movement independent of external catalysts, especially as the resolution date approaches.
