This market will resolve to "Yes" if total commitments for the Squid raise on both Legion and Kraken exceeds the number specified in the title before the raise closes. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market is the total committed value displayed on the official Squid sale page on Legion at https://app.legion.cc/app/invest/squid. This value is the sum of total commitments on both Legion and Kraken. If the displayed figure reaches the threshold at any point before July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Yes" regardless of subsequent refunds or cancellations. If the sale is on hold and no commitment total is verifiable by July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if the raise event is otherwise cancelled or rescheduled to a time past that date, this market resolves to "No". If requisite information for this market’s resolution becomes permanently unavailable within this market’s timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. If the sale begins and is extended before the official closing time, commitments made during the extended period will count toward resolution.

Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader expectations about whether the Squid public sale will reach the $4 million commitment threshold. Unlike spot prices, which respond to immediate supply and demand for an asset, these odds represent a probabilistic forecast of a future event. Traders who monitor both this market and public announcements about the sale can identify gaps between what the prediction market implies and what industry analysts or project communications suggest, potentially signaling mispriced conviction.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying shares that the commitment threshold will be exceeded pushes the price upward, and selling pushes it downward. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the collective view of all active traders on the platform. As new developments about the Squid sale emerge—such as marketing announcements, exchange listings, or community sentiment shifts—traders adjust their positions, causing the price to move in real time.
This market resolves around Aug 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total commitments for the Squid public sale on Legion and Kraken are verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether the combined commitment amount reaches or exceeds $4 million. Once the sale concludes and official figures are published or independently verified, the market will settle in favor of whichever outcome matches the actual total.
Several catalysts could shift trader positioning in this market. Official announcements from Squid, Legion, or Kraken about sale progress or extended timelines may trigger repricing. Broader crypto market sentiment, regulatory news affecting the projects involved, or social media momentum around the sale could influence commitment levels. Additionally, early reports of commitment totals, if leaked or published incrementally, would provide concrete data points that traders use to update their odds. Major exchange listings or partnerships announced during the sale window could also accelerate or dampen participation.
