This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Tesla (TSLA) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd sentiment rather than formal research methodologies. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly price targets based on fundamental models, this market aggregates live trader conviction—those who believe Tesla will close higher or lower can profit directly. Analysts typically update forecasts quarterly or after major events; prediction markets adjust minute-by-minute. Both sources offer value: analysts provide detailed reasoning and earnings models, while markets capture forward-looking risk appetite and tail-event probability. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus may be overconfident or underpricing volatility.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds for each price bracket through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Buyers who believe Tesla will close in a higher range purchase shares at the current ask price; sellers short that outcome at the bid. As more capital flows into one bracket, its price rises and others fall, naturally balancing supply and demand. The market price reflects the collective probability estimate across all participants. Liquidity depth and recent volume influence how quickly prices move in response to news or technical shifts, so deeper brackets typically show tighter spreads.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the trading week closes and Tesla's official closing price is verified. The outcome is determined by comparing TSLA's actual closing price on the settlement date against the predefined price brackets offered in the market. Winning shares are those in the bracket matching the verified close; all other shares expire worthless. Resolution is confirmed once the closing price is verifiable from credible public sources such as major financial data providers or official exchange records. Traders should monitor for any corporate actions or market halts that could affect the final settlement.
Tesla's stock price—and therefore this market—can shift on earnings surprises, production updates, regulatory news, or CEO announcements. Broader catalysts include Federal Reserve policy, tech sector rotation, and macroeconomic data that influence growth stocks. Supply chain disruptions, competition announcements, or changes to EV tax credits can also trigger sharp repricing. Short-term technical levels and options expiration dates sometimes create intraweek volatility. Traders should watch Tesla's official communications, industry reports, and macro calendars for events that could push the stock toward or away from key price levels. Implied volatility spikes often precede major moves, signaling heightened uncertainty in the market.
