This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) on June 26 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from a broad trader base rather than relying on a single research team's model. Analysts typically publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts with longer time horizons, whereas this market concentrates on a single discrete outcome on a fixed date. Market odds tend to react faster to breaking news and earnings surprises, while analyst estimates may lag. Both approaches offer value: prediction markets excel at near-term binary outcomes, while analyst consensus provides detailed fundamental analysis and longer-term context.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the outcome, and the price of a YES share reflects the collective probability that Tesla will close above the target price on June 26. As traders deposit capital and place orders, the contract price moves in real time, with spreads tightening as volume increases. The final price at market close represents the market's last consensus before resolution.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once Tesla's official closing price for that trading day is confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources, and traders holding YES shares are paid out if the stock closes above the specified threshold, while NO holders are paid if it closes at or below. Resolution is automatic once the price is finalized and published by market data providers, with payouts typically processed within hours of market close.
Tesla's stock price is sensitive to earnings announcements, production updates, regulatory news, and macroeconomic shifts affecting the automotive and EV sectors. Major catalysts include quarterly earnings calls, delivery reports, changes in interest rates, and broader market sentiment toward growth stocks. Elon Musk's public statements, competitive announcements from legacy automakers, and geopolitical developments affecting supply chains can also trigger sharp moves. Closer to June 26, technical factors like options expiration and index rebalancing may influence intraday volatility and closing price.
