This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) on June 2 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/history, published under "Historical Prices."
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-money consensus from traders pricing in Tesla's expected stock performance by Jun 2, 2026. These odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets and consensus estimates because markets incorporate forward-looking sentiment, earnings surprises, macroeconomic shifts, and geopolitical factors in real time. While analysts publish periodic forecasts based on fundamental analysis, prediction markets continuously update as new information emerges, making them a dynamic alternative gauge of where the market expects Tesla to trade on the resolution date.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026, when Tesla's official closing price for that trading day is finalized. The outcome is determined by whether the closing price is above or below the specified strike level. Resolution occurs after market close and is based on verified price data, ensuring accuracy and fairness for all traders. Once the outcome is confirmed, the contract settles and traders receive payouts based on their positions.
Key catalysts include Tesla earnings announcements, production or delivery reports, regulatory developments affecting EV incentives or safety standards, and macroeconomic data impacting equity markets broadly. CEO Elon Musk's public statements or company guidance can trigger sharp price moves. Broader market volatility, interest rate changes, and sector rotation between growth and value stocks also influence Tesla's trajectory. Competitive pressures from legacy automakers and EV startups, supply chain updates, and geopolitical events affecting manufacturing or sales regions could shift odds significantly before Jun 2, 2026.
