This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) on July 20, 2026 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. If the listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth, this market will resolve 50-50. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.TSLA%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money incentives, which often diverge from traditional analyst price targets. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly forecasts based on fundamental research, this market prices the specific outcome dynamically as new information emerges. Traders who profit from accurate predictions tend to incorporate breaking news, earnings surprises, and macroeconomic shifts faster than consensus estimates update. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in risks or opportunities that mainstream research has overlooked.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—Tesla closing above or below the threshold—has a price between 0 and 100 cents, representing the probability traders assign to that result. As money flows in or out, the price adjusts continuously, ensuring the market always reflects the latest consensus. This mechanism rewards accurate forecasters and penalizes poor predictions, creating strong incentives for informed participation.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, once Tesla's official closing price for that trading day is confirmed. The outcome is determined by whether TSLA settles above or below the specified strike price, verified against credible public sources such as financial data providers or official exchange records. Traders holding the correct position receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically finalized within hours of market close, allowing quick settlement.
Major catalysts include Tesla earnings announcements, CEO statements, regulatory developments, and broader market movements in tech stocks or the S&P 500. Geopolitical events, interest rate decisions, and supply chain news can also shift sentiment. Intraday volatility near July 20 may spike if unexpected corporate actions or macroeconomic data arrive close to the close. Traders monitor social media, news wires, and options markets for clues about where large players are positioning, as institutional flows often precede retail sentiment shifts.
