This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) on July 13, 2026 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. If the listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth, this market will resolve 50-50. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.TSLA%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-time trader conviction rather than periodic research updates. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts, this market reflects continuous market sentiment and incorporates breaking news instantly. Traders betting on Tesla's stock price have financial incentive to be accurate, creating a dynamic pricing mechanism. Comparing the current odds to published analyst consensus can reveal whether the prediction market is pricing in more bullish or bearish scenarios than the mainstream research community expects.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader bets into continuous odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Participants buy or sell shares representing the outcome, and the price adjusts based on order flow and available liquidity. The current odds reflect the cumulative positions of all traders; as more capital flows toward one outcome, the price moves accordingly. This mechanism ensures transparent, real-time pricing without requiring a counterparty to match every trade manually.
This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, when the trading window closes and the outcome is finalized. The result is determined by whether Tesla's stock closes above the specified price level on that date, verified against credible public sources. Once the market event occurs and the closing price is confirmed, payouts are distributed to winning positions. Traders should monitor Tesla's performance leading up to the deadline to inform their positions.
Tesla's stock price is sensitive to earnings announcements, product launches, regulatory developments, and broader market conditions. Macroeconomic shifts—interest rate changes, recession concerns, or sector rotation—can significantly impact automotive and EV stocks. Company-specific catalysts such as delivery numbers, guidance updates, or leadership announcements often trigger sharp price movements. Geopolitical events, supply chain disruptions, and competitor actions also influence trader positioning. Monitoring financial news, Tesla's investor calendar, and market sentiment will help traders anticipate volatility and adjust their bets accordingly before the July 13 close.
