This market will resolve according to the number of times Ted Cruz (@tedcruz), posts on X between June 26, 12:00 PM ET and July 3, 2026, 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies which are recorded on the main feed will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). The resolution source for this market is the "Post Counter" figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.

Prediction markets and traditional polls measure different things: polls capture stated preferences or beliefs at a single moment, while prediction markets aggregate real-money bets on actual outcomes. For this market, traders are pricing in their expectations about Cruz's posting volume based on his historical social media patterns, seasonal activity, and any anticipated events during that week. Prediction markets often incorporate information faster than polls because participants have financial incentive to forecast accurately. The odds on this market reflect collective trader judgment rather than a survey sample, making them a distinct—and often complementary—signal to conventional polling data.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, after the conclusion of the June 26 to July 3 window. The outcome is determined by verifying the actual number of posts Cruz published on X during that period against credible public sources. Once the final count is confirmed, the market settles to the outcome bucket that matches the verified total—whether that is the 0–19 range, 20–39 range, or another bracket defined at market creation. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout based on the final odds at which they entered their positions.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Major political announcements or campaign events involving Cruz could spike his posting activity, prompting traders to buy higher-volume outcomes. Conversely, a quiet news cycle or the senator's focus on legislative work might keep posting low, supporting the 0–19 bucket. Historical patterns from similar weeks in previous years offer a baseline, but unexpected developments—such as viral controversies, legislative votes, or personal news—can alter expectations rapidly. Traders monitor Cruz's recent posting frequency and any scheduled appearances or statements to adjust their positions, making this market sensitive to real-time political developments and the senator's communication strategy.
