Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Sweden on September 13, 2026. This market will resolve to “V” if Left Party (V) wins more valid votes than Centre Party (C) in the specified election. This market will resolve to “C” if Centre Party (C) wins more valid votes than Left Party (V) in the specified election. This market will resolve 50-50 if both Left Party (V) and Centre Party (C) receive exactly the same number of valid votes in the specified election. This market will resolve solely based on the number of valid votes won by each specified party. Valid votes will be counted only where the Swedish Election Authority attributes them to the aforementioned parties. Votes attributed to other parties or electoral designations will not count, regardless of electoral cooperation, endorsements, coalition agreements, or subsequent parliamentary-group arrangements. If either party formally merges into a successor party before the election and does not contest separately, this market will resolve 50-50. If the results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Swedish government, specifically the Swedish Election Authority (Valmyndigheten) (https://www.val.se/).

Currently, this market implies a strong probability that one party will win more votes, aligning with recent polling trends. While prediction markets often price in probabilities differently than traditional polls, the current odds reflect trader sentiment and can diverge from simple polling averages due to betting dynamics and market sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election results are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final count of votes cast for the V and C parties will determine which side meets the market's criteria. Official tallies from Sweden's electoral authority serve as the benchmark, ensuring an accurate and transparent resolution process that aligns with real-world outcomes.
Key signals include published election polls tracking voter preferences, major party announcements or policy shifts, and any geopolitical or economic events influencing Swedish voter sentiment. Media coverage of leadership debates, emerging scandals, or changes in campaign momentum can also sway trader expectations. As Sep 13, 2026 approaches, real-time polling updates and analyst forecasts will likely drive volatility, especially if the race appears tight or unpredictable.
