This market will resolve based on SpaceX's market capitalization at the closing price on the last trading day of July 2026. Market capitalization expresses the monetary value of a company’s outstanding shares, stated in its pricing currency. It is calculated as the number of shares outstanding multiplied by the closing share price on the last trading day of July. If the relevant value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Resolution will be based on the primary exchange’s official listing page. In the event that the relevant figure is not displayed, another reliable source will be used. In the event of an interruption in the course of the normal trading session on the specified day of SpaceX trading (e.g., a circuit breaker or half-day), the market will resolve according to the official closing price of the abbreviated session. If no such official closing price is published for the specified day, the market will resolve according to the next trading day on which an official closing price is published, treating that as the specified day for purposes of this market.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-money bets from many participants rather than relying on a small number of expert opinions. In this market, traders are pricing their collective expectations about SpaceX's end-of-July valuation against published analyst estimates and comparable company valuations. Prediction markets tend to update faster than analyst reports when new information emerges, making them a useful cross-check for consensus views. However, analyst forecasts and market odds serve different purposes and may reflect different time horizons or methodologies.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that represent different SpaceX valuation ranges. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 100 cents, reflecting the collective probability assigned by the market. When traders believe SpaceX's market cap is more likely to fall within a particular range, they buy shares of that outcome, pushing its price higher. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. The current odds reflect the latest consensus among active participants on the platform.
This market resolves around Jul 31, 2026, once SpaceX's market cap at the close of the final trading day in July can be verified from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which valuation range SpaceX's market cap falls into at that specific time. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while other positions expire worthless. The resolution hinges on publicly available financial data and market closing information.
Major catalysts for this market include SpaceX funding announcements, changes in valuation from recent investment rounds, regulatory developments affecting the company's business, and broader shifts in venture capital or aerospace sentiment. Earnings or operational milestones from competitors, changes in government space contracts, or macroeconomic shifts affecting private company valuations could also influence trader expectations. Media coverage of SpaceX's progress toward profitability or new ventures may sway odds. Any credible reporting on insider transactions or third-party valuation assessments could trigger significant repricing before the end-of-July settlement date.
