These markets track whether the S&P 500 index will close above specific thresholds on a particular date, allowing participants to speculate on the performance of the broader market. Each threshold represents a distinct level the index must surpass by the end of trading on that day.
All markets resolve based on the end-of-day S&P 500 index value on September 23, 2026, at 4pm EDT. For each market, if the index closes above the specified threshold (e.g., 7,600.9999 or higher), the market resolves to "Yes"; otherwise, it resolves to "No". Each market closes on September 23, 2026, and expires at the sooner of the first official release of the index value or one week after the close date. The Exchange has applied modifications to the Source Agency and Underlying for index markets as per the Kalshi Rulebook, which are consistent across all markets in this set.
