This set of markets tracks whether the S&P 500 index will reach or exceed various threshold values at a specific future date and time. Each threshold represents a different potential level the index might achieve, allowing participants to speculate on the exact magnitude of market performance by that point.
All markets share the same event-level framework: they resolve based on the S&P 500 index value at 11am EDT on September 21, 2026. Each individual market has a unique threshold value, and resolves to "Yes" if the index closes above that precise threshold (e.g., above 7474.9999 for the first market). Markets close on the event date and expire either when the index value is officially released or one week later, whichever comes first. The Exchange has applied specific modifications to the source agency and underlying definitions for index markets as detailed in the Kalshi Rulebook.
