This set of markets tracks the performance of a major stock market index on a specific date, resolving based on whether the index closes above various threshold values. Each market represents a different threshold, allowing participants to speculate on the exact level of the index at the close of trading on that day.
All markets in this set resolve based on the end-of-day value of the S&P 500 index on September 10, 2026, at 4pm EDT. Each individual market has a specific threshold value; if the index closes above that threshold (e.g., 7,500.9999 or higher), the market resolves to 'Yes.' Otherwise, it resolves to 'No.' Markets close on September 10, 2026, and expiration occurs at the sooner of the first official data release or one week after the close date. The Exchange has applied modifications to the Source Agency and Underlying for index markets per the Kalshi Rulebook, but these modifications do not alter the core resolution mechanics described above. All markets share these identical timing and expiration rules, with resolution contingent solely on the index's closing value relative to their respective thresholds.
