These markets evaluate potential future performance of a major stock market index by setting precise threshold values to be assessed at a specific future date and time. Each market has a unique numerical target that determines its resolution outcome based on the index's actual value at the specified moment.
All markets share identical secondary rules and resolution timing structures while differing only in their specific threshold values. Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the S&P 500 index value at precisely 12pm EDT on August 24, 2026 exceeds its designated threshold (e.g., above 7474.9999, above 7479.9999, etc.). All markets close on August 24, 2026, and expire either upon the first official release of the index data or, if no data is released that day, one week afterward. The Exchange has uniformly modified source agency and underlying definitions for all index-based markets per the Kalshi Rulebook provisions, applying consistently across all threshold variations.
