Resolution is based on certified results from the first round of the South Carolina Republican Senate special primary held on July 22, 2026. The applicable market resolves to Yes if the corresponding candidate finishes in exactly second place. In the event of an exact tie for second place, all tied candidates' markets resolve proportionally (each receiving 1/number of tied entities). Write-in candidates are excluded from named candidate markets unless a specific Write-in or Other option exists in the market structure. Candidates who withdraw or are disqualified after the filing deadline but remain on the ballot are ranked according to votes received. If the election is cancelled or postponed beyond the market's expiration date, all markets resolve to No.
