This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either an up or down outcome for Solana by the resolution timestamp. The price of each share reflects the market's probability estimate, ranging from near zero to near one dollar. As traders place orders, the automated market maker adjusts prices in real time. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery, while lower liquidity can create wider bid-ask gaps and slippage for larger trades.
Solana's price direction by May 31 could be influenced by major network upgrades, validator performance announcements, or shifts in developer activity on the blockchain. Macro crypto sentiment—driven by Bitcoin and Ethereum moves, regulatory news, or Fed policy—often carries Solana along. On-chain metrics like transaction volume and active addresses may signal user adoption trends. Ecosystem news, such as new dApp launches or institutional partnerships, can spark bullish momentum. Market-wide risk-off events or exchange outages could trigger sharp downside moves. Traders monitor these catalysts closely to adjust their positions.
