This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing "Up" or "Down" outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's collective probability estimate, with the two outcomes summing to 100 cents. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time based on supply and demand. You can enter at any time before May 31, 2026, and your position settles based on Solana's actual price direction at the specified snapshot time.
The market resolves on May 31, 2026, at which point the outcome is determined by Solana's price direction at the 1AM ET snapshot. All open positions settle automatically based on the final result. Until that moment, you can trade your shares freely, exit early, or hold to expiration. The resolution is binary: either Solana closes up or down relative to the opening price at that specific time. Once settled, payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome.
Solana's price direction by May 31, 1AM ET could be influenced by major network upgrades, validator performance announcements, or shifts in developer activity. Broader crypto market moves—especially Bitcoin and Ethereum price swings—often drag Solana along. Regulatory news, institutional adoption milestones, or changes in DeFi activity on Solana could also drive sentiment. Macro factors like Fed policy or risk-on/risk-off sentiment in equities matter too. Monitoring on-chain metrics, ecosystem partnerships, and technical support/resistance levels can help you anticipate directional moves before resolution.
