This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, the Solana Up or Down - May 30, 10PM ET event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of capital allocated to each side. Shares are purchased at prices between 0 and 1 (representing 0–100% implied probability), with traders profiting the difference between entry and exit prices or resolution value. Polymarket's automated market maker model ensures continuous liquidity, allowing traders to enter or exit positions throughout the event window leading up to May 30.
The market resolves on May 31, 2026. Resolution is determined by Solana's price at the specified snapshot time of May 30, 10PM ET. The outcome depends on whether SOL closes above or below its reference level at that exact moment. Traders should monitor the market closely as the resolution window approaches, as final price action in the hours leading up to 10PM ET will directly determine which outcome occurs. Early positioning does not guarantee profit if price moves against the trade before resolution.
Key catalysts for Solana's price direction include network upgrades, validator performance announcements, and ecosystem developments. Broader crypto market sentiment—driven by Bitcoin and Ethereum movements, regulatory news, or macroeconomic shifts—typically influences SOL trading. On-chain metrics such as transaction volume, active addresses, and developer activity can signal fundamental strength or weakness. Major exchange listings, partnership announcements, or security incidents would also impact short-term price action. Traders should monitor Solana's technical levels, funding rates on derivatives exchanges, and correlation with the wider altcoin market in the days leading up to May 30.
