This market will resolve to "Up" if the Solana price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the SOL/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/sol-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream SOL/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, Solana Up or Down - June 8, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET is priced using an automated market maker model where traders buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of capital allocated to each outcome. As traders place orders, the price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand. Shares in the "up" outcome and "down" outcome trade continuously until the market resolves at Jun 9, 2026. The price you see represents the marginal probability that Solana moves up during that four-hour window, with complementary pricing for the down outcome.
The Solana Up or Down - June 8, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET market resolves at Jun 9, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing Solana's price at the start of the June 8 window (8:00 PM ET) to its price at the close of the window (12:00 AM ET the following day). If the closing price is higher than the opening price, the "up" outcome wins. If the closing price is lower, the "down" outcome wins. The specific price feed and data source used for settlement are defined by the market's terms at creation.
Several catalysts could influence Solana's price direction during the June 8 evening window. Major announcements from the Solana Foundation or ecosystem projects, updates to network performance or security, shifts in broader crypto market sentiment, and Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements often drive SOL volatility. Regulatory news, macroeconomic data releases, or changes in developer activity could also impact trader positioning. Real-time social media discussion, whale transaction activity, and technical support or resistance levels near the opening price may influence short-term momentum. Monitoring these signals in the hours leading up to 8:00 PM ET can help inform market expectations.
