This market will resolve to "Up" if the Solana price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the SOL/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/sol-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream SOL/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Solana Up or Down - June 7, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET market is priced as binary outcome contracts, with each outcome trading between 0 and 100 cents. Traders buy shares representing their belief in either an up or down move, and the price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As traders place orders and the market approaches the June 7 event window, prices adjust dynamically based on order flow and new information, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at prevailing market rates.
The Solana Up or Down - June 7, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET market resolves after Jun 8, 2026. Resolution is determined by whether Solana's price at the end of the four-hour window is higher or lower than its price at the start of the event window on June 7 at 8:00PM ET. The market captures a discrete directional move during this specific time period, making it distinct from longer-term price forecasts. Traders should monitor Solana's price action closely during the event window to understand how the outcome will be determined.
Several catalysts could influence Solana's price direction during the June 7 event window. Major announcements from the Solana Foundation, updates to network performance or security, shifts in broader crypto market sentiment, Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements, regulatory news affecting blockchain assets, and macroeconomic data releases could all trigger volatility. Additionally, trading volume spikes, options expiration events, or liquidation cascades in leveraged positions may create sharp intraday moves. Monitoring Solana social channels, on-chain metrics, and crypto news outlets in the hours leading up to 8:00PM ET will help traders anticipate directional pressure.
