This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective expectations for SOL's direction by June 6, 11AM ET, often diverging from spot price momentum alone. While spot markets react to immediate price action, prediction markets price in longer-term conviction and tail risks. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts, on-chain metrics, and macro sentiment can reveal whether the market is pricing in consensus or contrarian views. Significant gaps between prediction odds and analyst expectations may signal underpriced or overpriced outcomes, offering trading signals for informed participants.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Solana Up or Down - June 6, 11AM ET event is priced as binary shares: one contract for SOL trading up and one for trading down at the specified time. Traders buy and sell these shares, with prices ranging from 0 to 100 cents, representing implied probability. The current odds reflect accumulated trades and open interest on Polymarket's order book. As new information emerges—network upgrades, regulatory news, or market volatility—prices adjust dynamically to reflect updated trader expectations about Solana's direction on that date.
The market resolves on Jun 6, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing Solana's spot price at the specified time (June 6, 11AM ET) against a reference baseline. The outcome hinges on whether SOL closes above or below that threshold at the exact resolution moment. Traders should monitor the approach to this deadline, as liquidity and volatility typically increase near resolution. After the market settles, winning shares are redeemed at full value and losing shares expire worthless, distributing gains to correct predictors.
Several catalysts could shift odds for this event. Solana network performance updates, validator health announcements, or ecosystem developments may drive bullish sentiment. Regulatory clarity or restrictions on SOL trading could trigger sharp reversals. Broader crypto market moves—Bitcoin volatility, Fed policy shifts, or altcoin rotation—often drag Solana along. On-chain metrics like active addresses and transaction volume signal network strength. Macro events such as inflation data or geopolitical tensions affect risk appetite for volatile assets. Technical levels and liquidation cascades on leverage platforms can amplify price swings, influencing prediction market odds as the June 6 deadline approaches.
