This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Solana Up or Down - June 5, 1PM ET market uses an automated market maker or order-book model to price each outcome between 0 and 100 cents, where the sum equals $1. Traders buy or sell shares representing "up" or "down" outcomes. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring by resolution. Liquidity, recent trades, and order flow determine how quickly prices adjust to new information about Solana's expected performance.
The Solana Up or Down - June 5, 1PM ET market resolves at Jun 5, 2026. Resolution hinges on Solana's price direction at the specified time, with the outcome determined by comparing the price at that exact moment against a reference baseline. Traders should monitor the market's official resolution criteria and any clarifications from the platform to ensure they understand which price feed or data source will be used to settle the event.
Key catalysts for Solana's price direction include network upgrades, validator performance announcements, ecosystem partnerships, and broader crypto market sentiment shifts. Regulatory news affecting Solana or the entire sector, Bitcoin and Ethereum price movements, and macroeconomic data can all influence trader positioning. On-chain metrics like transaction volume and developer activity may also signal strength or weakness. Watch for major exchange listings, security incidents, or protocol changes that could trigger sharp repricing before the June 5 resolution.
