This market will resolve to "Up" if the Solana price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the SOL/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/sol-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream SOL/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, Solana Up or Down - June 5, 12:00AM-4:00AM ET is priced as a binary contract with two outcomes: Solana price moves up or down during the specified four-hour window. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The contract trades at odds reflecting the probability each outcome receives from active traders. Prices range from 0 to 1, where higher prices indicate stronger conviction in an up move. Liquidity and order flow on Polymarket determine how quickly prices adjust to new information. Traders can buy or sell either outcome, and payoffs are determined by the final price comparison at resolution.
The Solana Up or Down - June 5, 12:00AM-4:00AM ET market resolves at Jun 5, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing Solana's price at the start of the window (12:00AM ET on June 5) to its price at the end (4:00AM ET on June 5). The outcome depends on whether the closing price is higher or lower than the opening price during this specific four-hour period. Once the market resolves, winning positions are paid out according to the contract terms, and trading ceases.
Several factors could influence Solana's price direction during the June 5 window. Macro crypto sentiment shifts, Bitcoin volatility, and regulatory announcements often drive altcoin moves. Solana-specific catalysts include network updates, ecosystem developments, or major partnership news. On-chain metrics such as transaction volume or validator activity may signal strength or weakness. Market-wide risk-off events, Fed communications, or traditional market opens can also impact crypto broadly. Traders monitor social sentiment, technical levels, and derivatives positioning to anticipate directional moves. The four-hour window is short, so intraday volatility and liquidity conditions will play a significant role in determining the outcome.
