This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds reflect trader consensus on directional price movement and often diverge from spot price momentum alone. While spot price shows current Solana value, the market odds incorporate forward-looking sentiment, volatility expectations, and macro risk factors through Jun 4, 2026. Comparing the implied probability on Polymarket to analyst forecasts or on-chain metrics can reveal whether traders are pricing in tail risks or euphoria that spot price alone does not capture. This gap often signals opportunity or consensus extremes.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as two complementary contracts: one for Solana moving up and one for moving down by the resolution timestamp. The price of each contract reflects the probability traders assign to that outcome, ranging from near-zero to near-100 cents per share. As traders buy or sell, the price adjusts in real time. The sum of both contract prices typically equals 100 cents, though small arbitrage gaps can exist. Volume and liquidity on each side determine how easily you can enter or exit a position.
Solana price action through Jun 4, 2026 will be shaped by macro crypto sentiment, Bitcoin momentum, network upgrades or security incidents, regulatory announcements, and shifts in DeFi activity on the Solana blockchain. Major exchange listings, validator issues, or ecosystem partnerships can trigger sharp moves. Broader market events—Fed policy, equity volatility, or stablecoin stress—often ripple into altcoins. Traders monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and social sentiment may spot early signals before the market reprices. Liquidity conditions on spot exchanges also influence volatility and directional bias.
