This market will resolve to "Up" if the Solana price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the SOL/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/sol-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream SOL/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary outcome: traders buy or sell shares representing Solana moving up or down during the June 4, 4:00PM-8:00PM ET window. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the cumulative trading activity and order book depth on Polymarket's AMM. Share prices range from 0 to 1, where the sum of both outcomes equals 1. Traders profit by buying undervalued outcomes or selling overvalued ones before the market resolves. Liquidity and spreads vary based on real-time trading volume and participant interest in this specific intraday crypto movement event.
The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026 after the four-hour trading window closes on June 4 at 8:00PM ET. Resolution depends on whether Solana's price at the end of that window is higher or lower than its price at the start of the window at 4:00PM ET. The exact reference price source and settlement methodology are specified in the market's terms. Once the outcome is determined, winning shares are paid out at full value and losing shares expire worthless, settling all open positions.
Several catalysts could drive Solana's price during that four-hour window: major blockchain updates or network status changes, regulatory announcements affecting Solana or crypto broadly, Bitcoin or Ethereum price swings that influence altcoin sentiment, macroeconomic data releases, and large on-chain transactions or whale activity. Ecosystem news such as protocol upgrades, exchange listings, or developer milestones can also shift trader positioning. Intraday volatility spikes, liquidation cascades, or sudden shifts in market risk appetite may amplify price moves. Monitoring social sentiment, technical support and resistance levels, and broader crypto market momentum closer to June 4 will help traders assess directional risk.
