This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Solana Up or Down - June 4, 10AM ET contract is priced as a binary outcome, with traders buying or selling shares representing each direction. The current price reflects the aggregated belief of Polymarket participants about Solana's price movement by the resolution timestamp. Liquidity and volume on this specific contract determine bid-ask spreads and slippage for position entry or exit. As the event date nears, repricing typically accelerates in response to macro crypto trends, Solana ecosystem news, and broader market volatility.
The market resolves on Jun 4, 2026. Resolution is determined by Solana's price direction at the specified 10AM ET timestamp on June 4. The outcome hinges on whether SOL closes above or below its price level at that exact moment, establishing a clear binary result. Traders should monitor the final hours before resolution for any last-minute price swings or news that could shift the outcome. Once the resolution time passes, the market settles according to the recorded price data.
Several catalysts could influence Solana's price direction by June 4, 10AM ET. Ecosystem announcements, major protocol upgrades, or validator network changes may drive bullish sentiment. Conversely, regulatory scrutiny, security incidents, or broader crypto market downturns could pressure SOL lower. Macro factors including Federal Reserve policy, Bitcoin dominance shifts, and traditional market risk-off events also ripple through altcoins. On-chain metrics such as active addresses, transaction volume, and developer activity provide real-time signals. Monitoring social sentiment, exchange flows, and derivative positioning helps traders anticipate directional moves ahead of resolution.
