This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing "Solana Up" or "Solana Down" outcomes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the balance of buy and sell orders; as traders adjust positions ahead of the June 3, 9PM ET snapshot, the price moves to equilibrate supply and demand. Liquidity and trading volume on Polymarket determine how efficiently prices adjust to new information about Solana's expected price direction.
The market resolves at Jun 4, 2026, marking the official snapshot time for determining Solana's price direction. At that moment, the outcome is finalized based on whether Solana's price has moved up or down relative to the reference level established at market creation. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout, while losing positions expire. The resolution is deterministic and tied to the specific time and price feed used by Polymarket.
Key catalysts include Solana network upgrades, validator performance announcements, and ecosystem partnerships or integrations. Broader crypto market sentiment—driven by Bitcoin and Ethereum moves, Federal Reserve policy, or regulatory news—often correlates with Solana price action. On-chain metrics such as transaction volume, active addresses, and developer activity can signal strength or weakness. Macro events, exchange listings, or major DeFi protocol launches on Solana may also influence trader conviction and shift the implied probability on Polymarket before the June 3 snapshot.
