Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Solana price movement market dashboard displays real-time odds for whether SOL will trade up or down during a specific four-hour window. Traders can monitor the current probability assigned to each outcome, along with historical price data and trading activity. The dashboard reflects how the crowd is pricing directional movement in Solana, updated continuously as new trades flow in. This gives participants a live snapshot of market sentiment around SOL's near-term price action during the designated session.

Prediction market odds often diverge from spot price momentum because they incorporate broader sentiment, funding rates, and trader positioning beyond immediate technical signals. While spot price expectations rely on recent price action and technical levels, this market aggregates the collective conviction of traders betting real capital on directional outcomes. Prediction odds can lead or lag spot expectations depending on whether informed traders are front-running moves or reacting to them. Comparing the two reveals whether the crowd expects mean reversion, continuation, or a surprise reversal during the trading window.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares of each outcome—Solana Up or Down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the implied probability; as more capital flows into one side, that outcome's odds rise and the opposing side falls. The market uses an automated market maker model to ensure continuous pricing and liquidity. Traders profit by correctly predicting the direction, and the spread between bid and ask prices tightens as more participants engage, making this market an efficient aggregator of near-term SOL sentiment.

This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, after the four-hour trading window closes. The outcome is determined by whether Solana's price has moved up or down from the opening level at the start of the session, verified against credible public sources such as major exchange data or price feeds. Once the event is verifiable and confirmed, the market settles and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome. The resolution is objective and based on observable price movement during the specified timeframe.

Major catalysts include Solana network updates, validator performance reports, or ecosystem announcements that shift developer or user sentiment. Macro crypto events—such as Bitcoin volatility, Federal Reserve policy shifts, or regulatory news—often ripple through altcoin markets. On-chain metrics like transaction volume and active addresses can signal strength or weakness. Additionally, funding rate spikes, liquidation cascades, or large whale trades detected on-chain may trigger rapid repricing. Technical levels and support or resistance zones also guide short-term traders, making intraday momentum shifts a key driver of outcome probability during the four-hour window.
