This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as two complementary outcomes: one contract for Solana moving up and one for moving down by the resolution time. Traders buy and sell shares of each outcome, with prices ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%), reflecting the probability each side assigns. The price of each outcome is determined by supply and demand; as more traders buy the up contract, its price rises and the down contract's price falls proportionally. Liquidity and trading volume on Polymarket directly influence how tight the bid-ask spread remains.
Several catalysts could influence Solana's price direction by June 2, 8PM ET. Major network upgrades, validator performance issues, or security incidents could trigger sharp moves. Broader crypto market sentiment—driven by Bitcoin and Ethereum momentum, Federal Reserve policy, or institutional adoption news—often carries Solana along. Ecosystem developments, such as major dApp launches or partnerships, may boost bullish conviction. Conversely, regulatory announcements or exchange delistings could pressure the price downward. Monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and macro crypto sentiment will help traders anticipate directional shifts before resolution.
