This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader consensus on SOL's directional move by June 2, 7AM ET, which may diverge from current spot price levels or analyst forecasts. While spot markets price Solana continuously based on supply and demand, prediction markets isolate a single binary outcome at a fixed moment. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst price targets or on-chain sentiment indicators can reveal whether traders expect mean reversion, momentum continuation, or volatility. The gap between prediction odds and external expectations often signals where smart money sees asymmetric risk.
Several catalysts could shift odds for Solana Up or Down - June 2, 7AM ET before resolution. Macro crypto sentiment, Bitcoin price action, and Solana-specific developments such as network upgrades, validator health, or ecosystem announcements often drive SOL volatility. Regulatory news affecting the broader crypto market, changes in on-chain activity metrics, or shifts in institutional positioning can rapidly reprrice trader expectations. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may also trigger algorithmic trading. Monitoring social sentiment, developer activity, and macro risk appetite helps traders anticipate directional moves and adjust their positions accordingly.
