This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, Solana Up or Down - June 2, 12PM ET is priced as a binary contract where each outcome trades as a separate share. The price of each share reflects its implied probability, ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0–100 cents). Traders buy the outcome they believe will occur and sell the opposing side. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so prices adjust dynamically based on order flow. The spread between bid and ask widens or narrows depending on liquidity and trading volume in this specific event.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026. At that time, Solana's price will be checked against the specified threshold to determine whether the Up or Down outcome has occurred. Resolution is final once the snapshot is taken and verified. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The exact price source and methodology are defined in the market rules at the time of creation. All positions settle automatically once the outcome is confirmed.
Solana price action through June 2 will be shaped by on-chain activity, ecosystem developments, and macro crypto sentiment. Key catalysts include network upgrades, validator health reports, major dApp launches or failures, and shifts in Bitcoin or Ethereum momentum. Regulatory announcements affecting SOL or the broader crypto market can trigger sharp repricing. Funding rate spikes on derivatives exchanges often precede directional moves. Technical levels and resistance zones will guide short-term traders. Monitoring Solana's developer activity, TVL trends, and correlation with broader risk assets helps predict which way the market will lean into the resolution window.
