Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader consensus about Solana's directional move by Jun 2, 2026, but they differ from spot price forecasts made by analysts or social media sentiment. While spot price expectations focus on absolute price levels, prediction markets isolate binary directional conviction. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst price targets or polling data reveals whether the market is pricing in more or less bullish momentum than traditional research suggests. This gap often highlights where informed traders see value diverging from mainstream expectations.

On Polymarket, this event is priced using an automated market maker model where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of liquidity and trading activity on each side. As traders accumulate positions, the price adjusts to balance supply and demand. Polymarket's pricing mechanism ensures that the market continuously reprices based on new information, network updates, or shifts in trader conviction about Solana's direction by the resolution date.

The market resolves at Jun 2, 2026. At that moment, Solana's price action is assessed to determine whether it moved up or down from the reference point established at market creation. The outcome is binary: traders who backed the correct direction receive their payout, while the opposing side loses their stake. Resolution occurs automatically once the snapshot is taken at the specified time, and payouts are distributed to winning positions on Polymarket.

Key catalysts include Solana network upgrades, validator performance announcements, and ecosystem partnership news. Regulatory developments affecting crypto broadly, Federal Reserve policy shifts, and Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements often drive Solana volatility. On-chain metrics like transaction volume and active addresses can signal network health. Macro events—inflation data, geopolitical tensions, or major tech earnings—ripple through crypto markets. Developer activity and SOL token unlock schedules also influence sentiment. Traders monitor these signals to adjust positions as new information emerges before Jun 2, 2026.
