This market will resolve to "Up" if the Solana price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the SOL/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/sol-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream SOL/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Solana Up or Down - June 10, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET event is priced as a binary outcome: traders buy shares representing either an up move or a down move during the four-hour period. The price of each outcome reflects its implied probability, with the two sides summing to 100 percent. Traders profit by correctly predicting Solana's direction, and prices adjust in real time based on order flow and new information about market conditions or Solana-specific developments.
The market resolves at Jun 11, 2026, marking the end of the four-hour trading window. The outcome is determined by comparing Solana's price at the close of the window to its opening price at 8:00PM ET on June 10. A resolution to up or down hinges on whether the closing price is higher or lower than the opening price during this specific period, providing a clear and objective settlement criterion for all traders.
Several catalysts could influence Solana's price direction during the June 10 window. Major announcements from the Solana Foundation, updates to network performance or security, shifts in broader crypto market sentiment, or Bitcoin and Ethereum price movements often drive SOL volatility. Regulatory news, macroeconomic data releases, or developments in competing Layer 1 blockchains may also impact trader positioning. Monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and social sentiment closer to the event window can help predict which way the market will lean.
