This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary outcome: traders buy and sell shares representing either an up or down move in Solana's price by the resolution deadline. The price of each share reflects the market's probability estimate, ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). As new information emerges—network upgrades, regulatory news, or broader crypto sentiment shifts—traders adjust positions, moving the price. Liquidity and order book depth on Polymarket determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions at any given price level.
The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026. Resolution is determined by Solana's price movement relative to a specified reference point at the exact resolution timestamp. The outcome hinges on whether the price closes above or below that benchmark at 9AM ET on June 1. Once the resolution time passes, the market locks and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome. Traders should monitor the exact resolution criteria and reference price source to understand their exposure.
Several catalysts could shift Solana's price direction before June 1, 9AM ET. Major network upgrades, validator performance announcements, or ecosystem partnerships could drive bullish momentum. Conversely, regulatory scrutiny, security incidents, or broader crypto market downturns could trigger selling pressure. Macroeconomic events—Federal Reserve decisions, inflation data, or risk-off sentiment—often ripple through crypto. On-chain metrics like active addresses and transaction volume also influence trader sentiment. Monitoring Solana's technical levels, correlation with Bitcoin, and developer activity helps predict directional moves.
