This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, Solana Up or Down - June 1, 1AM ET is priced as a binary outcome contract where traders buy and sell shares representing "Up" or "Down." On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the ratio of shares held and recent trade flow. As traders accumulate positions ahead of the June 1, 1AM ET snapshot, prices adjust to balance supply and demand. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so larger trades move prices more sharply. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens as volume increases, making it easier to enter or exit positions near fair value.
The market resolves at Jun 1, 2026. Resolution is determined by Solana's price direction at the specified snapshot time on June 1, 1AM ET. The outcome hinges on whether SOL closes above or below its price at that exact moment. Traders should monitor Solana's price action closely as the resolution window approaches, since even small price movements near the deadline can swing the outcome. Market activity typically intensifies in the final hours before resolution as traders adjust positions based on real-time price data and last-minute catalysts.
Key catalysts for Solana's price direction include network upgrades, validator performance reports, ecosystem funding announcements, and regulatory developments affecting crypto broadly. Macroeconomic shifts—interest rate expectations, risk sentiment, and Bitcoin momentum—often drive altcoin markets. On-chain metrics like transaction volume and active addresses can signal network health. Major exchange listings or delistings, security incidents, or developer activity changes may also influence trader positioning. Broader crypto market volatility, particularly during Asian or European trading sessions leading into June 1, 1AM ET, could create sharp directional moves that determine the final outcome.
