This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' consensus on Solana's directional move, which may diverge from spot price momentum or technical analysis. While spot markets react to immediate supply and demand, prediction markets price in forward-looking sentiment over a fixed window. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst price targets or social media sentiment can reveal whether the market is pricing in optimism or caution relative to broader market narratives. This gap often signals where informed traders see value or risk.
The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026. At that moment, Solana's price will be measured against a reference point, and the outcome will be determined by whether the price has moved up or down from that baseline. Traders should monitor the exact resolution criteria and data source specified in the market rules to understand how the winner is decided. Once the snapshot is taken and verified, the market settles and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome.
Key catalysts include Solana ecosystem announcements, network upgrades, validator performance updates, and shifts in broader crypto market sentiment. Regulatory news affecting Solana or the wider blockchain sector, Bitcoin and Ethereum price movements, and macroeconomic data can all influence trader positioning. Social media momentum, developer activity milestones, and exchange listings or delistings may also drive short-term volatility. Monitoring on-chain metrics like transaction volume and staking activity can provide early signals of directional bias before the June 1 snapshot.
