The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Prediction market odds often diverge from spot price momentum because they reflect forward-looking consensus rather than current momentum alone. While a spot exchange shows where SOL trades right now, this market aggregates traders' beliefs about where it will be at a specific future moment. Prediction markets tend to price in upcoming catalysts, macro sentiment, and longer-term conviction that intraday price action may not capture. Comparing the two reveals whether the crowd expects mean reversion, continuation, or a shift in narrative.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares of each outcome directly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by the market; if more traders believe SOL will move up, the up-share price rises and the down-share price falls, and vice versa. This continuous order-book mechanism ensures prices update instantly as new information or sentiment emerges, creating a transparent, real-time gauge of community conviction.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result hinges on whether Solana's price at that moment is higher or lower than the reference level set at market creation. Once the closing price is established and verified, the winning outcome is paid out and the losing side receives nothing, settling all positions.
Major catalysts include Solana ecosystem announcements, regulatory developments affecting crypto broadly, macroeconomic data that shifts risk appetite, and Bitcoin or Ethereum moves that often drag altcoins along. Technical levels and on-chain metrics such as network activity or validator health can also influence trader positioning. Additionally, broader sentiment shifts—whether driven by Fed policy, institutional adoption news, or competing blockchain developments—tend to ripple through this market as traders reassess their conviction and adjust positions ahead of the deadline.
