The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Prediction market odds often diverge from spot price momentum because they incorporate forward-looking sentiment and tail-risk hedging. While spot traders focus on immediate technical levels and liquidity, this market aggregates bets from participants with varying time horizons and risk tolerances. A high probability for "up" does not guarantee spot price strength; it reflects what traders collectively believe will occur by the resolution window. Comparing these odds to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in consensus or contrarian views.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on order flow and liquidity depth. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—Solana up or down—is represented as a separate contract, and the combined probability of both always equals 100 percent. Prices move in real time as traders buy and sell shares, with wider spreads during lower-volume periods and tighter spreads when activity peaks. This mechanism ensures that the market price reflects the marginal trader's conviction at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by whether Solana's price has moved up or down from the snapshot baseline at that specific time. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout once the outcome is finalized and the platform processes settlement. Early traders can exit their positions before resolution if market conditions shift.
Major catalysts include Solana network upgrades, validator performance announcements, and shifts in broader crypto market sentiment driven by Bitcoin or Ethereum moves. Regulatory news affecting SOL or the wider ecosystem can trigger sharp repricing. On-chain metrics such as active addresses, transaction volume, and developer activity may influence longer-term positioning. Macro events—Federal Reserve decisions, risk-off sentiment in equities—often ripple into altcoin markets. Watch for ecosystem partnerships or security incidents that could shift trader conviction in either direction before the snapshot.
