The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Prediction market odds reflect aggregate trader expectations about Solana's price direction, which often diverge from spot price momentum alone. While spot markets react to immediate supply and demand, this market incorporates forward-looking sentiment, technical analysis, and macro catalysts that traders believe will influence SOL by the deadline. Comparing the implied probability here to analyst forecasts or on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in optimism or caution relative to consensus views. Discrepancies often signal where informed traders see value.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying shares for either outcome adjusts the price dynamically. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital deployed toward "Up" or "Down," the higher that outcome's price climbs. Each share costs between 0 and 1 USDC, and the sum of both outcomes always equals 1. This continuous pricing model ensures liquidity and allows traders to enter or exit positions at transparent, real-time rates throughout the market's lifetime.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by whether Solana's price has moved up or down relative to its level at the market's opening. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. Resolution is final once confirmed, so timing and price verification are critical to settlement.
Major catalysts for this market include Solana network upgrades, validator performance announcements, and shifts in broader crypto sentiment. Regulatory news affecting SOL or the wider ecosystem, Bitcoin price movements, and macroeconomic data can all trigger rapid repricing. On-chain metrics like transaction volume and active addresses may also influence trader conviction. Additionally, competing layer-one developments or changes in institutional adoption could sway the probability in either direction before the July 10 deadline.
