This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Binance 1 minute candle for SOL/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title has a final "Close" price higher than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs. Price precision is determined by the number of decimal places in the source.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary outcome: traders buy YES shares if they believe SOL will exceed the threshold by Jun 8, 2026, or NO shares if they expect it to remain below. The price of YES shares directly reflects the market's implied probability. Liquidity, recent price moves in spot markets, and upcoming Solana ecosystem developments all influence the bid-ask spread and depth available for traders entering or exiting positions.
The market resolves on Jun 8, 2026, at which point the outcome is determined by Solana's price at that time. Resolution occurs after the specified timestamp, locking in the final price data used to settle all positions. Traders holding YES shares receive payout if the condition is met; NO holders are paid if it is not. The exact price source and settlement methodology are defined in the market's terms at the time of creation.
Major catalysts include Solana network upgrades, validator performance improvements, or ecosystem announcements that drive developer adoption. Macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, Federal Reserve policy changes, and Bitcoin price movements typically influence altcoin valuations. Regulatory clarity or restrictions on crypto trading could also sway sentiment. Technical milestones like MEV improvements or state compression rollouts may boost confidence in Solana's scalability. Competitive developments in Layer 1 blockchains and changes in institutional or retail demand for SOL will all factor into whether traders adjust their odds between now and June 8.
