This event divides the possible SOL (Solana) price range into specific bands on June 25, 2026 at 5pm EDT. Traders bet on which price range SOL will fall within. The price is determined by averaging 60 seconds of CF Benchmarks data immediately before the expiration time.
Resolution is based on the simple average of CF Benchmarks' SOLUSD_RTI over the 60 seconds immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on June 25, 2026. Each outcome represents a distinct price band, and exactly one outcome resolves to Yes based on where the averaged price falls. If data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing data for accurate price determination.
Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will occur, often diverging from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. While spot markets price Solana for immediate exchange, this market prices a specific future moment—incorporating expectations about adoption, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic shifts over the next 18+ months. Traders betting on particular price ranges are essentially making a directional call on SOL's trajectory. The odds you see represent aggregated conviction, not a guarantee, and can shift sharply if new information emerges about Solana's ecosystem or the broader crypto landscape.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each price range outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each range has its own contract, and the price of a share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As traders place bids and asks, the market discovers the odds in real time. You can enter limit or market orders to express your view, and your position updates as the settlement date approaches and new information becomes available.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, when Solana's price at that specific moment becomes verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which price range bracket SOL actually trades within at the settlement timestamp. Once the event occurs and the price is confirmed, Kalshi will verify the result and distribute winnings to traders who backed the correct range. No further trading occurs after resolution.
Major catalysts include Solana network upgrades, validator performance improvements, or significant security incidents affecting user confidence. Regulatory announcements—whether supportive or restrictive—can shift sentiment sharply. Macroeconomic shifts, Federal Reserve policy changes, and Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements often ripple through altcoin markets. Adoption milestones, such as major institutional integrations or mainstream dApp launches, could drive bullish repricing. Conversely, competitive pressure from other Layer 1 blockchains or technical setbacks could weigh on odds. Traders continuously reassess these factors, causing odds to drift as new information surfaces.
