Description

This set of markets tracks the precise closing price of silver on a specific timestamp, using tightly defined thresholds to determine outcomes. Each market examines whether the price exceeds a particular level at the exact close of a one-minute trading interval, offering granular insight into price movements at that moment.

Kalshi

All markets in this event resolve based on the closing price of the one-minute candlestick for silver at 5:00 PM EDT on August 19, 2026. For each market, a 'Yes' outcome occurs if the closing price exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., $60, $60.25, etc.). The settlement price is rounded to the nearest two decimal places, with the closing price defined as the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval (i.e., the 4:59 PM candlestick closing at 5:00 PM). If no data is published for the specified timestamp, the most recently available published data is used to determine the outcome. All markets share these consistent rules for data retrieval, rounding, and contingency handling.
