Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Russia in September 2026. This market will resolve according to the official voter turnout rate for the 2026 Russia Parliamentary election, defined as the total number of votes cast divided by the total number of eligible voters. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher bracket. If the results of this election are not known by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The primary resolution source for this market will be official election results reported by Russian government sources such as the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used if official results are not available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing different turnout ranges. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, and its implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by new information, shifts in sentiment, and strategic trading activity, creating a dynamic and informative forecast of the election’s likely turnout.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final turnout percentage will be sourced from official election authorities and verified against credible public sources. This market focuses on the overall percentage of eligible voters who participate in the Russian parliamentary election, and the resolution will reflect that official figure. Traders will then be able to see which predictions proved most accurate and how the market performed as a forecasting tool.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Major political developments, such as changes in election laws or prominent endorsements, could influence voter sentiment and turnout expectations. Unexpected economic news or geopolitical events could also play a role. Additionally, any credible reports suggesting potential irregularities or interference in the election process would likely cause substantial shifts in trading activity. Increased media coverage focusing on voter engagement or apathy could also impact the market, as could any statements from key political figures regarding participation.
